The owners, Charlie & Kathy Ponti opened their first floral
shop in 1992. While both own Ponti's Petals, Kathy is the talent
behind the flowers wearing both hats of owner and designer. They started
off small but with big ambitions. The very first location was an adjoining one
room shop to Charlie's remodeling business in Dunellen. Kathy
quickly grew out of the one room location and moved to a larger one in 1995. With
business continuing to expand rapidly, Kathy & Charlie once again started
looking for a place to accommodate the demand for her floral
designs. In 2003 they found and fell in love with their dream location at
204 N. Washington Avenue. Charlie (owner of Weather- Tek Home Remodeling

) and
Kathy once again teamed up and restored an old Victorian home back to its
original splendor. It is now the permanent home to accommodate her passion of floral
designing.
Kathy Ponti is a graduate of North Jersey School of Floral Design and has diplomas in funeral design, wedding design, corsage and high style arrangements. She has spoken before several women's groups and demonstrated techniques and ideas for holiday designs.
Charlie & Kathy are the proud parents of five beautiful daughters, all of whom help run the business.
